What is the Hedgehog?

The Hedgehog is a Rare pet added in the Lunar Glow Event (May 10, 2025). It has a stubby cream-colored body, brown quills, and a chubby snout.

Its passive trait grants a 1.51x size bonus to prickly fruits (Cactus, Durian, Dragon Fruit) within a 30 studs radius. This trait is stackable, allowing multiple Hedgehogs to boost crop size further.

How to Get the Hedgehog

There are two main ways to obtain the Hedgehog:

• Unlock as the first milestone reward in the Lunar Glow Event by giving Moonlit fruit to the Wise Old Owl to earn Lunar Points.
• Hatch from a Night Egg (47% chance) or Premium Night Egg (49% chance).

What is the Blood Hedgehog?

The Blood Hedgehog is a Legendary variant added in the Blood Moon Event (May 17, 2025). It shares the same model as the Hedgehog but has deep red fur and neon red pupils.

Its trait, Sanguine Spike, grants:

• ~2x size bonus within ~25 studs of a prickly fruit.
• ~1.17x variant chance bonus within ~20 studs.

The Blood Hedgehog's ability stacks with other Hedgehogs, using the formula:

New fruit weight = Base weight * (1 + 1 for each Blood Hedgehog + 0.5 for each normal Hedgehog)

How to Get the Blood Hedgehog

You can purchase the Blood Hedgehog from the Blood Moon Shop for 23,000,000 Sheckles. It is not obtainable through eggs, making it a direct purchase Legendary pet.

Is the Hedgehog Worth It?

If you farm prickly crops like Cactus, Durian, or Dragon Fruit, the Hedgehog and Blood Hedgehog are excellent investments to maximize your crop size and profits. Their traits stack, allowing exponential boosts when used together.
